Classbash Workshops

Camp Spirit and togetherness.

Classbash Workshops, which we also call Camps, are a unique opportunity to experience an all-English atmosphere while preparing for future study, work, or adventure.

What makes Classbash different from other English camps is that Classbash focuses not just on improving your English skills, but on making it possible for you to use the skills you already have with confidence, and build on them through cooperation with your teachers and peers. We never guarantee you will improve your test scores, but we do guarantee you will start believing in yourself more, and find the confidence to deal with any situation life may throw at you.

Here's what our Participants and their parents had to say:

"My son said the time he spent with tutors at KOSHY's programs was more valuable than the time he spent learning English at school."

- Father of a JHS-aged Participant

"He seems to feel that the program focused on improving his communication skills rather than simply improving his English skills. Of course he has learned English, but it was more important to him to spend time talking with friends.

What was significant was that he got used to speaking English and gained confidence while lazing around with his friends in the living room during his free time outside of classes.

I feel that this is what makes ClassBash different from other regular English training camps."

- Mother of a SHS-aged Participant

"Even though he studies English every day, he doesn't have the opportunity to actually have conversations, so it was a good experience for him. By spending time with the teachers, staff, and students at meals and activities, he was able to enjoy English conversation that is not found in textbooks. It looks like he was able to do it... I'm glad that he's grown a bit and come back. I looked at the content of the textbook, and the lesson content was as expected. I wanted him to participate again."

- Mother of a JHS-aged Participant

"It was fun. I learned to make curry, and now I make curry for my family once a week."

- Manami (15 y.o.), 3-day camp

"I was planning to go on a study abroad program for a long time, because my university has a lot of foreign universities in network, so we can go to student exchange to Australia, United States, and New Zealand. But then the coronavirus happened and I was not sure if I can go. I went abroad with my parents when I was younger, but we didn’t go anywhere for almost 5 years and I almost lost my English ability.

My friend told me about ClassBash, so I decided to try their program. It was amazing! I went to two other English camps, but those are usually just grammar. ClassBash is different because I could use the English I already know to handle many situations, which really made me more confident. And everyone was really relaxed, so I could also relax. And, we did a “slang” course, I thought that this is something other camps never did, but it is very important."

-Yusuke (22 y.o.), 7-day camp
